Go do a jig...

Have you seen this "Where the heck is Matt?" on YouTube?
This guys does a jig in cities all around the world.  It is kind of cool to see all the places he goes and has gone.  He has been doing this for a few years now and I believe has sponsors now too.

Anyway, while out on our fossil dig this last weekend we stopped to plug coordinates into the GPS and Steve told the kids to get out and do a jig.  Logan remembered this Matt video knew what to do right away.  A couple siblings decided to join him rather reluctantly.  We die laughing now when we watch this.  At the time there were a few tears.

Just stopping by, blog surfing and bored. I have seen the matt video, it makes me want to travel more. On the otherhand, your family video rendition is something that our kids would do and when theres to much fun something has to happen to our fun. Priceless. I keep laughing at the end, especially when your son asks for help. It shows where our priorities are, laughing at our kids first then helping...LOL

Can I share your family link in my blog? I would love to share your "Go do a jig..." post.

Arnette, sure you can share the link. Everyone laughs at it now and rest assured, they all came running back to the car to be comforted and the one son started laughing instead of crying when we played the video back for him. This is a priceless memory now, sure to live on in our family history. To think we could have stayed home and worked in the yard! Ha!

That YouTube video is great! Why wasn't I the first one to think of that!?? He gets quite a response---why don't our missionaries try that? And that is so cute of your video with your kids! I'm going to start a family tradition.....
