Emily LOVES books. She has a box of books right next to her toy basket and her riding toys. She will sit in front of her book basket many times a day and go through her books. She won't even touch the toys, just her books. She likes to go through the books in our office too, emptying the shelf and flipping through pages. She will get books from our closet where there is a large built-in bookshelf and she will take these books around the house with her. They don't even have pictures. She just likes to flip through the pages. The book that is in her little toy basket by her bed is one of my favorite children's stories, "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff. Emily had to have Steve read this to her about 5 times in a row before she was satisfied or bored with it. I hope she continues her love of books! I LOVE to read and always have a pile to work through. I just need more hours in my day!!!
